If you really knew me


In an effort to get to know each other and trust each other, I'd like you to take a little risk and post five things that you'd like other people in the class to know about you. The quirkier/more unique and personal, the better.

Here are my five:

1. I hate the sound of a plastic spoon scraping against a plastic cup.

2. I prefer individual sports like jogging and hiking because I can't stand to disappoint anyone.

3. I choose each day to make a positive memory with my son and husband.

4. I am a minister's daughter and am thankful for my faith.

5. I wish I could live in a musical.

  3. Hi I’m Faith and here are my five facts.
    1. I stress out when driving on any road with more than two lanes of traffic.
    2. I hate starting something important in the middle of the day or in the middle of an hour. I prefer to start fresh the next morning or to start on the hour.
    3. I have a twin brother.
    4. I mentally ignore peoples height and consider myself around the same height as everyone I meet, even if that person is 6ft.

  8. Hi fellow people, I'm Josie and these are my quirky things.
    1) I am obsessed with colors, and I have this crazy theory about how everyone sees them. You should totally ask me about it sometime cause soon enough you'll join the color loving club.

    2) I have some big scars on my cheeks cause I got stung by a jellyfish at age 12 in the Caribbean. Ha Ha I'm totally kidding that would be cool but I actually got mauled by a dog when I was 3. Still love dogs.

    3) I play in the band, saxophone, and even though it's "nerdy" I love it.

    4) My name is Josie Jean, instead of Josephine, but pretty much everyone calls me Jos or Jose anyways.

    5) Most people say they always know where I am because my laugh is really loud and I laugh all the time.

    2. Hey Josie, I got a fun fact for you: everyone sees colors differently, so one person can see a color, like royal blue, and someone else might see a sky blue. There are also colors that our eyes can't detect, that other animals like shrimp can. Look it up, it's crazy. Also, I was wondering about the scars on your face, but didn't want to offend you or anything by asking.

  16. Hey, I'm Kate. My five quirky(ish) facts are:
    1. I have played the oboe since fifth grade.
    2. I'm super introverted until you get to know me. Then I tend to get pretty extrovert-y.
    3. In text conversations, if I use an exclamation point I feel like I'm too excited, but if I don't, it sounds like a monotone voice to me. (There should be a punctuation mark that is in between, just saying.)
    4. I played soccer for around 6 years before I quit (mostly because I tended to get injured a lot. It's still a fun sport!), then started volleyball (I play on the Arapahoe team currently).
    5. My favorite hobby probably has to be people watching.

    2. I am really obsessed with marching band and will debate people for hours if they talk badly about it. I actually got a concussion last year in it from getting hit in the head with a flag during a football game show.

    3. I love running, cooking, sewing, music, writing, and many things that require creativity

    4. I love to be outdoors and do things like camping (in a tent), soccer (on a team) biking, marching band (at AHS) hiking, skiing, etc...

    5. I love anime and Japan. Its a place I really want to go to on my bucket list. I want to learn Japanese and possible live there for a while or move there if I really like it.
